How To: Radiate Confidence
Own your appearance. Take care of your self physically and mentally. If you want to look confident, what you wear matters. Curate your look in a way that helps you feel attractive and expresses how you want to be seen.
Body Language and posture. Be mindful of how you're standing, walking, and sitting threw out the day. Keep your back and shoulder muscles aligned. Drop the shoulders away from ears. While exhaling think about pressing belly button to spine. Keep abs slightly engaged.
"I like to imagine my body is a marionette doll being held up by a string from the base of my spine all the way up to the top of my head. Imagine some one pulling the string up from the highest point of your head toward the sky. You can even pull a little section of hair at your crown to help imagine. (Assist a friend and do the hair trick on them)"
Don’t fidget. Avoid playing with any clothing, body parts or loose items. Strive to keep your body movement relatively still.
Where focus goes, energy flows. Focus on the positive. Gratitude is very magnetic. Avoid gossiping. Derogatory language aimed at others or yourself is low vibrational; confidence has high vibrations. Try affirmations. Repeat out loud, in your head, write on your mirror or journal. Here are some to try:
“When you’re 20 you care what everyone thinks, when youre 40 you stop caring what people think, when youre 60 you realize no one was ever thinking about you in the first place.” – Winston Churchill
